Hello!

My name is Toby, and I'm the newest member of the myTarapy family. Around here they call me the Chief Hope Officer & Wagmaster (CHOW), which sounds like a really important job... even though I still get distracted by squirrels.

Before I came to myTarapy, my life looked a little different.

Just like people, dogs sometimes go through seasons of change too. New places can feel scary. New people can take time to trust. New beginnings can feel uncertain.

But here's something I've learned...

Sometimes the best things in life begin with one person simply saying,

"Come here, you're safe."

When I first met Dr. Tara, she didn't expect me to be perfect.

She didn't rush me.

She didn't expect me to trust right away.

She simply gave me time.

Love has a funny way of doing that.

It doesn't force.

It waits.

Little by little, I started feeling at home.

Now I have an important job.

I greet people.

I offer cuddles.

I remind everyone to take breaks.

Sometimes I make people smile before they even say a word.

Other times I simply lie beside someone who needs a quiet friend.

You see...

Dogs don't care what happened yesterday.

We don't keep score.

We don't judge.

We're just happy you're here.

Maybe people could learn something from that too.

So if you're reading this today, I want you to know something...

Whether you're feeling anxious...

Lonely...

Heartbroken...

Or just tired...

I'm really glad you're here.

And I saved you a spot beside me.

We'll get through today together.

One step...

One tail wag...

One hopeful moment at a time.
