Yes. myTarapy offers both in-person sessions and telehealth sessions, depending on availability and client needs.

Do you offer faith-based counseling?
Yes. myTarapy offers faith-based counseling for clients who desire Biblical truth and spiritual support as part of their healing process.
Faith is never forced. Your counseling experience is shaped around your needs, comfort, and goals.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, myTarapy does not accept insurance.
Clients may request receipts/superbills to submit to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.What are your session fees?
Session fees may vary based on service type. Please contact myTarapy directly for current rates and availability.
Do you offer same-day or same-week appointments?
When available, yes. myTarapy does offer same-day or same-week appointments depending on scheduling openings.
What can I expect during the first session?
Your first session is a conversation. We will talk about what brought you here, what you are hoping to work through, and what support may be most helpful.
You do not have to have everything figured out before you begin.
Healing begins with one conversation.
Do I have to be Christian to receive counseling?
No. myTarapy welcomes people from all walks of life.
Faith-based counseling is available for those who want it, but every client is met with respect, compassion, and care.
Do you work with couples and families?
Yes. myTarapy provides support for individuals, couples, and families.
Relationship healing often begins with honest conversation, healthy boundaries, and learning how to communicate with care.
Do you provide addiction counseling?
Yes. Addiction and co-occurring disorders are one of myTarapy’s areas of focus.
Support may include recovery work, relapse prevention, emotional healing, accountability, and rebuilding life one step at a time.
Is counseling confidential?
Yes. Your privacy matters.
There are legal and ethical limits to confidentiality, such as safety concerns or situations required by law, but these will be explained clearly during your intake process.
What if I am nervous about starting therapy?
That is normal.
Many people feel nervous before their first session. You do not have to know what to say. You do not have to have the perfect words. You only have to take the first step.
Do you offer speaking engagements or groups?
Yes. Dr. Tara J. Snow is available for speaking engagements, workshops, groups, and community support opportunities.
